To design a pavilion, within Ciani's park in Lugano, for Hans Joseph Epstein's butterfly collection. The driving concept utilized was to recreate wihin the pavilion the same carefree feeling an individual would experience in searching for butterflies, with no limits between internal and external space. The transparency of the construction provides the sensation of being in the actual park, this feeling is further increased by the presence of an internal court. A specific aggregation of modular exagons allows, whilst still retaining the regular external format, the creation of a substantial dynamism with irregular internal space.
